CONTEXT

PLUS is a virtual tutoring platform that aims to bridge gaps in math education, empowering middle school with AI technology and research-backed methods.

PROBLEM

Taking 0 -> 1 concepts from low fidelity to high fidelity takes quite a while in the design process, as does designing interactive prototypes for documentation and handoff.

Using AI tools can help speed up the process, but design and prototyping work with AI at PLUS involves repeated context re-entry and tool-switching as ideas evolve from low to higher fidelity. Designers often redo setup work, re-explain system constraints, and reconstruct context when moving between tools or collaborators.

SOLUTION

A unified AI-assisted agent workflow using the PLUS design system as a persistent context layer, enabling designers to:

  • Convert lo-fi sketches into hi-fidelity interfaces

  • Generate interactive prototypes from prompts or hi-fi screens for handoff

  • Make immediate tweaks to hi-fidelity interfaces and prototypes

PMs and developers can evaluate ideas earlier and more concretely—without needing design tool expertise.
